The first version of the solver, including course timetabling extension, was created by Tomas Muller as a PhD thesis at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. This work was also supported by a grant from Purdue University between 2001-2005.
Constraint Solver is publicly available under GNU LGPL license, University Course Timetabling Application under GNU GPL license.
